2. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all the following criteria to be eligible to apply:
- Must be a Bhutanese citizen
- Should have graduated in the year 2019 or later
- Shall not be currently employed
- Should have been born on 1st January 1993 or later
- Must have a minimum of 65% each in Class X (English plus best four) and Class XII (English plus best three)
- Must have a minimum of 65% aggregate in degree
3. Online Application
All aspiring candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria are invited to register and apply for the vacant positions through the RIGSS Online Application System. Applicants shall apply for only one position that suits their background and interest the most. Applications through other means will not be accepted.
Online application system will close at 5:00 PM on 20th November, 2020. Applicants must submit their application and other credentials on or before this date.
4. Declaration of Results for Shortlisted Candidates
Applicants will be shortlisted based on marks obtained in the Class X and XII Board examinations and Bachelors degree. Applicants with Master’s Degree will be awarded additional points for shortlisting.
The names of the shortlisted candidates will be announced latest by 5:00 PM on 27th November 2020 on the Institute’s website.
5. Written Examinations
Shortlisted candidates are required to take written examinations in person for the final selection process. The written examinations, in two parts, will be held on 4th December 2020 from 9:00 AM to12:30 PM. All necessary COVID-19 health safety protocols shall be followed.
For the convenience of applicants, the written examinations will be organized in different regions. The venue and other instructions will be emailed to the shortlisted candidates.
6. Interview for Shortlisted Candidates
A Zoom video interview will be conducted during 7th - 10th December, 2020 for all shortlisted candidates. The interview will last for 20 - 25 minutes, and scores obtained from the interview will be used in the final selection of candidates. The Institute will schedule the interviews for all shortlisted candidates and intimate the date and time in advance.
7. Special Achievements
Applicants who have special achievements can list up to five such achievements during the online application, which they think are worthy of recognition. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit proof of the special achievements, which will be awarded additional points in the final selection.
8. Declaration of Final Results
Names of the selected candidates will be announced on 25th December 2020 latest by 5:00 PM on the Institute’s website.
In the event a selected candidate is not able to accept the offer, the position shall be offered to the next candidate in the order of merit.
9. Position Level and Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in position level and pay scale equivalent to P5 in the Civil Service. In addition, there will be an institutional allowance of 40% on the basic pay at entry level.
