Karen is a designer at the User Experience Centre (UXC) at Singapore Polytechnic. She received her Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design from the National University of Singapore, specializing in product and service innovation. She approaches design with a sensitivity for social and cultural nuances that inform her body of work in health care, law enforcement, education, and customer service innovation.

Karen believes that Design Thinking is a powerful approach that helps to create holistic solutions through a human-centred, iterative process. Karen is an experienced facilitator and trainer, bringing her wealth of experience in working with both public and private sector clients to deliver practical, hands-on learning experiences.
