Profile

Sue ​is an experienced coach, coaching supervisor and designer/facilitator of learning and development experiences. She believes that with the right support, the challenges of work and life are key development opportunities. She is dedicated to supporting individuals, teams and organisations in their journeys of learning and development.

Professional and leadership experience

For the 20 years prior to founding her practice in 2007, Sue was first a lawyer and then a manager and leader in the Media industry.

In the last 6 years of her media career as Regional MD for Asia of Fremantlemedia (a global producer of highly rated TV shows such as American Idol) she led a large cross-cultural team, developing the operation from an investment in two Asian offices to a thriving business across seven Asian offices.

Board experience

During her corporate leadership career, Sue was a board member for several of the Pearson and Bertelsmann Asian subsidiaries and continues to serve on the boards and advisory boards of non-profit and for-profit enterprises in the field of learning and development.

Education and professional training

Sue has a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and an MBA from INSEAD. She is qualified as a lawyer in the UK and a Mediator in Singapore.

Accredited with the International Coach Federation at PCC level, Sue is trained and certified in a variety of coaching methodologies including Results Coaching Systems and Integral Coaching. She also has a post Graduate diploma in positive business psychology accredited by the National Council of Psychotherapists, UK.

Fields of interest

Sue works mainly with individuals, teams or organisations undergoing transitions. Her fields of interest are in building resilience against the stresses this can entail and leaning into the transition as an opportunity for regeneration and reformation towards greater work-life flow. She has a track record working with individuals identified as gifted and talented in fields such as law, medicine, academia, government and technology. A former dancer, she has a special interest in embodied cognition and somatic studies. She is trained as a Pilates instructor and is currently engaged in instructor studies in yoga which she incorporates in her approach to building resilience and wellbeing.

Personal Details

Sue is a British national and Singapore PR of British and Chinese descent and lives in Singapore with her 13 year old son. She has lived, worked and studied in 5 countries and continues to work and study across Asia and beyond. She enjoys yoga, pilates, meditation, music, dance and other forms of art.
